Som annonceret fra dette års PlayStation Dag, får SingStar fans nu en dosis af 30 nye rock og pop hits til deres PS3 konsol i form af SingStar Vol. 2. Endvidere byder den nye version også på nye modes.
SingStar Vol. 2 blu-ray disken indeholder følgende 30 numre:

Singstar Vol. 2 byder også på 'harmony duet mode': som er en ny måde at spille på. Denne måde tillader to spillere at synge forskellige strofer af en sang på samme tid, for at vise deres harmonising skills. Med den nye måde at spille på kan man virkelig vise sit talent og tilføje en hel ny dimension til SingStar oplevelsen. Der er tilføjet specielle numre, som Kool and the Gang: Celebration, Paul McCartney og the Frog Chorus: We all Stand Together samt det Mamas & the Papas: California Dreamin', for at understøtte denne nye egenskab i spillet.

SingStar Vol. 2 forventes at udkomme sidst i juni måned.
